"Muara" in Malay means "River Mouth", and the Muara beach in Brunei is located in Mukim Serasa and is located on the easternmost tip of West Brunei. This is a favorite spot for families, especially on the weekend
The town you want to get to is Pekan Muara and from there it won't be long before you'll see the mile-long beach of white sand. About 1˝ hr drive south of BSB, lies the oil towns of Brunei. Kuala Belait and Seria are close to the Malaysian / Brunei border and is where the oil companies set up their office and production facilities. Brueni Shell Berhad has their main office here and even established the residential areas for their employees.
Till this day, you will find the bean pumps or "donkey pumps" nodding away 24/7 to extract petroleum from the ground. The sight is common along the road to Seria and even next to the town itself. Brunei also gets the oil from offshore locations

Overlooking Kampong Ayer water village, this centre was established to promote the work of local craftsmen. On display and on sale here are intricate silverware pieces and miniatures, traditional Kris daggers, brassware, brocades incorporating silver and gold thread, and native basketry. Leave a Comment

The Royal Regalia Building is one building which catches your eye because of its attractive architecture. It was officially opened in 1992 by the Sultan of Brunei to commemorate the 1992 Silver Jubilee of His Majesty’s accession to the throne.
Situated in the heart of the capital, it houses the collection of royal regalia. Some highlights include the royal chariot, which looks like it's been cast in gold and the crown jewels used during coronations. I don't have a photo here because I used film to capture it before.
