The Atrium Cafe is located at the main lobby area at one floor below the main entrance and check-in area. This is where the hotel guests will take their daily buffet breakfast, and it is also opened for lunch and dinner (which you can choose buffet or a-la-carte).
Since it is located at the main lobby, this cafe offers very good views of the fantastic architecture of the entire huge and tall building will many grand pillars.

The Empire Hotel & Country Club is famous for its exclusively made chocolates which you can purchase at a counter at the main lobby area next to the check-in counter.
There are many types of chocolates to choose from, and the box is very beautifully designed. I remembered a box of about 16 chocolates cost about $20+ brunei dollars, this is very good as a gift or for your own indulgence :) If you want more, they have bigger boxes for more chocolates and obviously it will cost more.

The Pantai Restaurant is located at the 2 large main pools area of Empire Hotel & Country Club, and serves good seafood and grilled dishes. If you are staying at the hotel, do check out the buffet dinner at this restaurant which costs around $30+ per person. The buffet food (e.g. seafood, grilled dishes etc) is very good and the ambience is open-air, near to the beach and next to the pools (very relaxing indeed).

There are several restaurants at Empire Hotel & Country Club, including the Li Gong chinese restaurant located next to the Lagoon Wing of the hotel and across to the cinema complex. The chinese food here is very good, especially the daily chinese buffet which costs about $20+ brunei dollars per person. I enjoyed my buffet lunch here in July 2007.
