If you want to do some shopping at the Empire Hotel & Country Club, there is a shopping arcade just next to the main lobby area. However, the shopping here is quite limited and not cheap, which is to be expected. The problem with this hotel is that it is very far way from the main town Bandar Seri Begawan and a ride there will take about 30 minutes one way.
