If you have the money to spent, there are some huge villa houses located near to the Lagoon Wing of the hotel. The villa houses look extremely luxurous and huge from the outside, and the exclusive swimming pool here (see my swimming pool tips) is very nice as it is an "infinity" concept pool facing the South China Sea.

The East Wing of the hotel is just next to the main building and lobby area, and the good thing about this wing is that the rooms are all facing the South China Sea. However, be prepared to pay more for the good views.

The Lagoon Wing consist of several tall blocks of hotel rooms facing a big lagoon located next to the main building. I stayed here for about 1 week in July 2007 and found it to be very quite and nice environment. Even the corridor and lift areas are air-conditioned.
Overall, the rooms at the Lagoon Wing are cheaper than those facing the sea, but it was still very good and luxurous for me :)

jerudong beach is the main take-off point for fishermen ......
daily landings around 10am and 5pm ....
with all those fresh and some alive catches..
would expect to find a seafood restaurant ..
right on the beach .... nope!
talk to the locals if you want to join a fishing trip ... no organised trips for tourists yet
