Don't you dare say anything contrary about the King, Sultan, whatever, just don't do it. Other than the usual common sense considerations, this is a very nice and seemingly prosperous country. No beggars that you sometimes see elsewhere, not here.And do stay out of this house
Alcohol is a no no here. As a foreigner you can import a small amount but it must be consumed in your hotel room . There are stiff fines and even jail time for those who disobey.
Be sure to dress conservatively when visiting Brunei, as most women are completely covered.
Traffic . Be aware, driving here is on the left side of the road and local drivers are not supposed to know you first look at left when you walk across a street! Be aware!

He is one of the richest men in the world but....he live in a tiny town full of rubbish. keep that in mind so you wont get disappointed.
Drugs is not allowed in the country and the sentence is death penalty.
If you like to have a drink or two, please remember that Brunei is an alcohol free country. It is OK to bring alcohol into the country, but you cannot buy it once you are there.
