    Favorite thing: This shot is taken on my horse cart ride to the Monastery. It is so scenic! I just loved the whole atmosphere!

    Bagaya Kyaung

    Favorite thing: There is a big sign at he Bagaya Kyaung that explains the history of the Monastery and gives the dimensions of some of the huge logs used in the building process.

    Favorite thing: Mixed in with those Pagodas you will see some nice Buddhas too! They are worth wandering around although I didn't check into their history.

    Old Pagodas

    Favorite thing: As you see all over Myanmar there are lot's of Pagodas. Well on the road to Bagaya you will see plenty of Pagodas along the road too. And you can also see some out in the rice fields too.

    Favorite thing: You can find this Buddha along the road to Bagaya Kyaung. The buildings don't look like much but they sure house a beautiful Buddha!

    Ruins wrapped in roots

    Tree Roots

    Favorite thing: At some of the ruins you can see the tree roots have grown into the brick. For this to happen this place must've been totally abandonded.
