Numerous stalls line up your way to Golden Rock. Apart from food stalls the remaining are mainly souvenir ones most of them selling religious items. It was interesting to see that most of these stall owners actually live there at the back of their shops

There're quite a numbers of stalls you can find along the way to the top. You will get a good deal from these stall owners. They don't speak english well, but they're friendly and so eager to sell you their natural stuff such as roots, home made comb, sandal wood, drinks and etc.

The quiet and serene feeling makes the rather uncomfortable trip to the basis of the pilgrim-path to the Golden Rock worthwile, after having used the "official" transport-lorry up to the hotel.
I've finally made it there three times and it's supposed to be great. We'll see if my ultimate dream come true :)
