There are pickups that run between Nyuang u and old bagan. On my second day in bagan, i walked from old bagan to new bagan, and hoped to grab a horse cart to minnathu at new bagan.. Unfortunately, by noon time there isn't any horse cart available at new bagan. So in the end, got to take the local pickup to go back to old bagan. Cost around 500 kyats. But i think for local is only 300 kyats or less...
