OK, I'm sure there are places in Mandalay that better deserve the title of THE place to be seen but judging by the numbers of scooters parked outside and the numbers of young people inside, this place must be fairly trendy.

Essentially it is just another teashop serving food but it's very pleasant and a great place for people-watching.

I only stopped in there a couple of times for a beer, although the food I saw served appeared very good.

It is really an outdoor place with the roofing provided by closely packed grass umbreallas. A word of warning for tall Westerners, I nearly had to move about the place bent double, the umbrellas are so low.
