Side of the road: Buy a bag of sand

How much do ya need?

There are piles of sand that can be purchased by the bag along the road. I don't know exactly what it would be used for. Maybe mixing with concrete. But I saw it a few times. As I was travelling light I couldn't carry a bag home with me.

Mandalay is famous for its handmade puppets - I bought mine after going to the Moustache Brothers performance.

It cost US$20

Street vendor

You'll never know what you find until you look. There are so many different things that can be bought from a street side vendor. Snacks / tea / bar of soap you name it..you can find it.
