OK , there is an island on Thanlwin river near Mawlamyine town and there is monastery on this island too . You`d better hire some boat to reach this island and try to enjoy sunset on the river beeing sure that on the land of monastery no military person shall arrest you if you are american , for example , and making photos not of sunset but their new bridge , what is prohibited...
