Sagaing - One of the Ancient Cities

 I visited Sagaing as part of my Ancient Cities tour that I did by hiring a taxi for the day out of Mandalay. Sagaing is quite interesting as it is set up on the hills that give great views of the area...

Sagaing

 Sagaing lies 20 km southwest of Mandalay near the former royal city of Ava on the Irrawaddy. More than 600 stupas and monasteries and 100 meditation centers can be found here and more than 6,000 monks...
