The same weed gatherers where seen here as well as around the other villages that we visited. These weeds are used for building floating gardens and for fertilizer. And it keeps the waterways from being over grown.

All of the local cleaning is done on the waters edge. Washing dishes, taking a bath, washing vegetables etc.. It is all done on a small dock that all of the homes had. I'm sure stomach diseases and other ailments are common here as sanitation is not of the highest standards. I'm pretty sure raw sewerage goes straight into the same water too. Although I did not witness that.
