Favorite thing: At all of the Temples you will find a wooden mallet or big stick that is used to Gong the Bell with. Make sure you do it 3 times for the Best of Luck! At least that's what I saw all of the locals doing at other Temples in Myanmar. So we just followed what we saw!

Favorite thing: The Pagodas here aren't that big but these are some of the bigger ones. Most of the 400 that are here are about 15 feet tall. But these were quite a bit bigger. It was very hot in the afternoon when we were spending our time here. I was so glad that I brought water because we drank alot of it!

Favorite thing: To get here it is a fairly short 10-20 minute walk up the hill from Indein Village. It is well worth the hike.

Favorite thing: Because of the slash and burn type burning that is done here we got to witness some eery looking Pagodas. Nobody around but lot's of smoke!

Favorite thing: There are 4 entrances into the main Temple at the top of the hill. Inside you will find a couple of Bells which you can give the traditional 3 gongs for a good luck! We had fun gonging the Bells!

Favorite thing: For as dry as it was out here on the hillside I was surprised to see the banana trees growing. I probably don't know enough about banana trees to understand the growth of them.
