Luggage and bags: I carry a small backpack to carry everyday necessaries...also ALWAYS carry plenty of fresh water as the there are few shops when out and about .
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: I found the days to be extremely hot and I always had a hat, sunglasses and used a good sunscreen cream
Always wear a good pair of walking or hiking boots as walking surfaces arent good..
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Make sure that you ALWAYS carry a reliable Mosquito and Insect Repellant and use it..as the mosquitoes are most prevelant after dark ,wear long sleeves and long pants to minimise getting bitten.
Photo Equipment: I always make sure that I have a fully charged camera battery BEFORE GOING OUT!
Carry a battery charger in your luggage with a spare memory card.
Also an International powerpoint adaptor is a must.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: The necessary toiletries I Always carry are:
A tube of sunscreen cream
A tube of moisturiser
A packet of wetones is a must
Also is a packet of tissues (in cast the roll is empty)
A tube of lip balm
and a couple of bandaid strips..
Miscellaneous: I always carry a small self charging torch here as the streets are not lit and inside most temples are very dark
Another important item is a small rolled up poncho as the storms are sudden and heavy.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Umbrella and torch- we travelled in July and it was very misty. Our longboat driver did have umbrellas for us. If you want to go walking by yourself however, you will need to have a jumper(it gets quite cool too!) and a torch as the villages have very little street lighting. See also footpaths
