Well of course thousands of tourist have been walking the same paths as you but still the lack of package tours give you some explore's feeling.
The Shan people welcome you with tea and neverseen hospitality.
We spend so much time drinking tea with the local people we couldn't get back on time to our hotel.
Friendly as the people are ,we got a ride in a truck back to Kalaw , no problem.
Our trekking guide named Charles is one of the friendliest people we have met in Myanmar (and that means a lot).
Loved and known by all the villagers we couldn't have a better guide to spend the day with.
We hope to go back 1 day and then do a 4 day trekking for this was our best Myanmar experience.
Thanks to VT member Laura for recommending him to us and for all the detailed info she mailed us
