Like most places in Myanmar, nightlife is extremely limited and stops bang on eleven o'clock (if not before). The only option in Nyaungshwe is to pick a bar or restaurant and just hang out with the locals and / or other travellers. I ofund Juang Kuang on the Main road to be a good place for this. It's central location opposite the Mingala market means it's usually fairly busy.
The entertainment is the TV on the wall which shows the usual diet of football (soccer) and fairly violent films interspersed with the ubiquitous karaoke videos.
You can get food here too.
Not a bad place to have a beer and watch the world go by.
Dress Code: Anything goes.
