Located opposite to the City Hall, this building with it´s patterns in yellow and red brick, was once one of the most fancy shopping stores in Southern East Asia. Actually it´s an inmigration office. The building as some others in the area are crumbling after years of neglect from the military regime, but it seems that things are changing now and restoration work is under process for some of this great colonial buildings.

Like the nearby City Hall, this is a place you only need to visit on business, although it is here that you will need to visit to sort out any visa extensions etc. Apparently, this was formerly one of the biggest department stores in Southeast Asia. Another slightly interesting piece of architecture, not really worth going to see of itself, but interesting enough to have a look at on the way past.
