Sule Pagoda At City Center !

by Minthan

Most of the travelers thought that Sule Pagoda is the one destinations of Yangon , Yes , it is correct but actually , it was famous for its location , at the city center . There is nothing special for travelers to see in there . It is OK for only take photos with city view . You have to pay 2 dollars for entrance fee , we can't say it should be . Take the good photos with city view and see the locals lives how they are difficult to take the bus to go back home . Go to the china town and see the local's lives !

Nat Pwe!

by Minthan

Nat is the spirit .Nat Pwe mean ( Spirit festivals ) , and also the realm of spirit invocation. Most commonly , this is accomplished through nat pwe ( spirit festival) , special musical performances designed to attract nat to the performance venue. Most of the indigenous Burmese music is designed for this purpose . Nat like loud and colourful music like rock and roll. Every Nat pwe is accompanied by a risk that the invited spirit may choose to enter, not the body of medium , but one of the spectators. The one of the famous one of nat is KoGyiKyaw , the drunker . The leader of nat pwe is nat kadaw ( nat's wife ) , most of the nat's wives are gay . You can see nat pwe at the Hinthargone Pagoda in Bago ,may be every sun day and sat . The biggest nat pwe is held at Taung Pyone near Mandalay on August . Welcome to Myanmar

Currency Conversion

by vuzu

You may be approached by some locals when you arrive the AungSan Bogyoke market or some BIG hotels outside, these guys will normally get some comission from the shop where you convert your USD or EUROS into kyat. There's NO point to negotiate with them as they can give you a good rate of exchange, ONLY the shop owner(jewelly shop normally) can offer a better rate. So, save your breathe and as these guys to bring you to the shop.Well, I would suggest you to visit some of the gem shops in the Bogyoke market yourself .
