Serendipity bars: Booze and more on the beach
The beach at Serendipity is quiet during the day and becomes more animated as the night falls.
It's close to town and there are many restaurants and bars. Some are 'classic' bars with or without barbecued food option in the evening, others offer more exotic stuff like this one with joints & happy herb pizza for sale.
Cambodia has severed drugs laws so I cannot recommend trying but the offer was certainly there!
Beach bars: Ochheuteal Beach
Virtually all of the beach shacks along Ochheuteal Beach set up chairs and tables in the evening in order to cash in on nightlife drinking. As well as these, you'll also find "proper" bars such as the Blue Dolphin on Serendipity Beach.
Eden Bar: Good people, Strong drinks! Good times!
This place is right on Serendipity beach, down that death trap of a "road", the owners were really nice, we sat and drank their house speciality of White Russians for a few to many hours and generally chatting with them. Getting the bike back up that track was not so much fun! Anyway, we didnt eat anything there so I'm bnot sure if they do food, though they probably do a few standard edibles...... Good music, great dancing kids in sunglasses, nice place! (ps - as you come onto serendipity down the gravel trackway thingy, its on the right of the rocks)

Airport: Featuring an old Russian Antonov plane!
This amazing place right on Victory Beach had only just opened when I visited in late December 2008. It features an old Russian Antonov plane on concrete posts inside a hanger shaped building with "business class" lounge areas on each side of the plane, a gold BMW split in half and mounted on the wall and everything is decked out to be like an airport. I got speaking to the owner/manager guy who said that when they flew the plane into Phnom Penh, the engines suddenly stopped and they had to make an emergency landing in a rice paddy field! A draught beer was a dollar when I was there.
Biba Bar: Get some local night life in Sihanoukville
I was making a motorcycle trip arround Cambodia. Last days of my trip i spent in Sihanoukville. I asked one scooter driver to giude me to some place were local people hang arround and not too many tourists are present. He took me to the fisherman village part near port. The nightclub called BIBA. Old fashioned disco with the main hall and dancing area in the middle. I was the only European inside. Neighbourhood tables were full of local fisherman and workers. Also some young crowd present. On the stage - three nice girls - permanent karaoke performers. Very local and very cambodian. Try it if you want a real taste of local nightlife. Much more charming than having a beer in Ochateu beach with backpakers from Australia (nothing against Australia :))).
Dress Code: local, simple, you can arrive with a tshirt, shorts and thongs

Bars in Ocheuteal beach: Bar-to-bar in Ocheuteal beach
There are several bars in Ocheuteal beach. You can't miss to see them when you walk along the beach at night. Cheap beers, load music, backpackers, local beach boys and girls (many of them are prostitutes).

Bars on Victory Hill: Hostess bars
I stayed on Victory Hill and even though the area is a bit of a dump with rough roads, it does feature many bars. One I went to was The Look, opened in 2007 by a Swiss guy, where Angkor draft is $1 and they have pool tables and TV; and a lounge bar that played R&B videos. There's also a few hostess bars.
Various choices - Some free: Night - Bar - In & Out

3. Get drunk at the bars along the beach.
4. Go Utopia (a bar) drink Tequilla * beer, listen to music & jokes. How 'bout swimming?
5. Swim (it's really cold).
6. Head the Lion square (frm the beach), take the right road and eat insects, snakes, eggs, spiders...
