Khmer VIllage Restaurant
The Khmer Village Restaurant is a cozy stop-over during your trip to Banteay Srei and the Angkor monuments for breakfast, lunch and some drinks. This restaurant serves nice local food, as well as rice and noodle dishes, plus soft drinks and beer.
It is popular, and many tourists were there for lunch when I was there in November 2009. The price is reasonable, and I find the food to be good and the atmosphere is relaxing. The location of this restaurant is across the road to Sras Srang (the royal bath, which is a big man-made lake), with the following contact details:

House N045 Group 3

Good hot food nearby
Opposite to the entrance to the temple are a number of open air restaurants....or should that be wooden shacks. They consist of a roofed terrace shielding a restaurant of grand tables and chairs.
The food available at these restaurants is actually very good and, washed down with an Angkor beer, is a perfect way to end a trip to Banteay Srei and fortify you ready for the trip back to the main Angkor complex.
Favorite Dish: If you're worried about your western constitution; stick with something hot and vegetarian.
Banteay Srei Market Stall: Good Noodle Dish
My guide, Peng Thai, knew a good place to eat in the Banteay Srei market area. He, Sophen (tuk tuk driver), and I all had a very tasty noodle dish (total cost was 1.50 USD for three people). I did pass on the fresh greens though. While we were there, the vendor from whom I had tried to buy a small trou found me. He had wanted 15 USD but decided to take my 8 USD offer.
