When we were in Siem Reap last year it was obvious that there was a lot of construction work being carried out.
Go now before all of those hotels are built and the place becomes overcrowded and over priced.
Angkor is very beautiful but some areas are very crowded and it is already becoming difficult to find a quiet place to soak up the atmosphere.
Money Changer booth
I tend to change my dollar to local riel at the official bank booth as I supposed it must be worth if I change there but I was totally wrong as I have been cheated.
well, I hate it when it comes up something like this but I realised that I am could easyly be cheated by people who are tend to cheat me especially about money. eh! it's reminded me while I was in India sometimes ago.
But its ok, just a little advise, if you wanna change your currency, do not go to the booth, you could go but just asked how much the rate first. I maybe dumbed that moment as I pretty exciting about Siem Reap.
The booth itself just along this place on the picture.
Don't drink the tap water.
Bottles of water are very cheap and you can buy them everywhere.
Clean your teeth with bottled water as well.
