The Olympic Market is a three story covered market near the Olympic Stadium which was upgraded and reopened in 1994 and now specialises in wholesale items. I went here with a Cambodian girl (who lives with the family i stayed with) and a friend. We went to get groceries for the family. I really like these kind of market and it was good not to run into any tourists.

After my visit here I became more careful with handing the money. I witnessed the way the locals treat the money; it was thrown on top of everything. I saw it carelesly dumped on top of some bloody juice from a large piece of porkmeat. Can you imagine this money going from one pig to the other?
