Ate here when I worked in Phnom Penh nearly 15 years a go and it was good then and it is still good. Ate there twice in a recent 2 1/2 week trip to Phnom Penh and had great local dishes both times. My bisiness colleague had a pizza with everything on our first trip and it was a lot of pizza that he said it was OK but nothing special. My local hot and spicy dishes were great both times. They have a good souvenir selection and I got a nice polo shirt.
Favorite Dish: A local Chicken and veggie dish with chilis and fish sauce on the side.
the FCC is just great...the best views over the river area along sisowath quay, great food...yes pricey compared to other eateries but the atmosphere and scenery are just classic...few places in asia can compare...if only the walls could talk...
No visit to Phnom Penh is complete without at least one stop in the FCC. Great food, cool drinks in a setting that takes you back to French colonial times. As you sip your beer and browse through the international papers you half expect Graham Greene to walk in, taking a break from writing one of his novels.
FCC ... a really special place with an excellent view of the riverside and the National Museum.
Favorite Dish: They have great salads, and beer is cheap...
This is the Foreign Correspondents Club on the banks of the Tonle Sap. A great example of French Colonial Architecture
