Actually, the pavillion was built in Egypt but in French colonial style and was given to the Cambodian King by Napoleon III
The Royal Garden
No special demarcation here.
It blends with the palace & other architecture within the palace compound.

Here is the main entrance to the palace taken from the inside. This is not the entarnce used by tourists - but seems to be an extravagant entrance hall, possibly used for state occaions(??)
Royal Palace again
Here are some more of the buildings in the Palace complex. One interesting building is a pavillion given by Napoleon III, unfortuately my picture of that has not come out.

The Royal Ground
Other than the visitors, the Royal Ground is quiet & peaceful with lots of quiet corners to ponder...
- Family Travel
The splendor of the royal palace was a treat to see. It is well worth a visit and is definately a must see.
Although its not as gorgeous as Thai Palace, it has its unique feature. especially Silver Pagoda and the diamond buddha statue.
There is also a gift from Napolean next to Throne Hall.
Elegant Royal Elephant Chairs
There was a room lined with gold adorned elephant chairs of Kings and Queens adorned in gold and another room of silver elephants of various sizes.
