  • FCC (Foreign Correspondent Club)

    4.5 out of 5 stars

    Phnom Penh Restaurants

the FCC is just great...the best views over the river area along sisowath quay, great food...yes pricey compared to other eateries but the atmosphere and scenery are just classic...few places in asia can compare...if only the walls could talk...

  • Eat/drink like the locals

    4.5 out of 5 stars

    Phnom Penh Restaurants

When you are in for a real Cambodian lunch or dinner, this restaurant is made for you. Normally rather full with Khmer families, all eating different dishes at the time. The have a big choise of Asian specialities at a very modest price. Their Lok Lak is really delicious, further more Khmer noodles with roasted chicken etc etc.

  • Friends Restuarant

    4.5 out of 5 stars

    Phnom Penh Restaurants

If you're in Phnom Penh, I suggest you go eat here. It's not only nicely decorated, and nice food, but it's also a great initiative. Children from the street can go to school, and can learn in the restaurant how to cook and how to serve, so they can get a decent job when they are older.

    4 out of 5 stars

    Phnom Penh Restaurants

Before 2011 this was a well known traditional great restaurant on the riverside. Since then, it was converted in a smaller place on the same adress, but completely recontructed, everything new, brillant, clean and modern. On the ground floor and on the street terrace, you can sit down for lunch or dinner, but it is normally rather noicy on the...

  • Happy Herb Bistro

    4 out of 5 stars

    Phnom Penh Restaurants

Located right on the river, it is next door to a couple of other pizza joints that also have "happy" food. Since I don't think that thick pizza and cheese matches up well with the SEA climate, I ordered "happy green curry". Much easier to eat, with the same result. All legal. Well established location with advertising in all tourist media. Good...

  • Kiwi Bakery

    3 out of 5 stars

    Phnom Penh Restaurants

You can eat here and get some cakes. However, I didn't find this a special place. With such a selection at the riverfront, you they kind of stand around your table and for sure are not good in English. The cakes are ok, the menu is ok, but again, you get better value and cosiness for money at one of the neighbours.

I found this place by chance, asking in my guesthouse for a place to dine. They told me where to find it, but the alley where it is located is not very appealling, so lonely and dark. So once there I had to ask someone in the street to reconfirm that was the place... But at the end it ended up to be a very nice garden terrace place with superb...

Indonesian food, really tasty. Looks out onto the river, peaceful area. The staff were a bit too attentive when we sat down, felt pressured into ordering quickly. When we had finished, we sat for ages with our plates in front of us trying to get their attention so we could pay (they were having a good old chat in the corner). It's a shame. Chicken...
