KFC: KFC - it's everywhere!!!

I don't normally advocate fast food but this KFC is so convenient that it's hard to say "no". In fact we saw it so often that we began to joke that this is the new Chinese cuisine. Literally in every city that I have traveled to!

Favorite Dish: The spicy chicken sandwich rocks! Stay away from the soggy french fries.

Quite excited!

Well we're not people to make a habit of eating in fast food chains, but sometimes a 'little bit of what you fancy, does you good' or so they say.

If you are backpacking and/or you are on a small budget it's cheap, not as cheap as the street food you can buy here though. Again if you are not confident in speaking Mandarin just yet, a lot of the young staff here speak English.

The food is the same the world over; good value, fast food.

KFC: Clean, Warm Bathrooms!

KFC

We just went inside to use the bathroom, but ended up staying for a bite to eat.

Food is average fast food crap... except the meals are half the price I've seen KFC anywhere else, and come with some kind of healthy orange-coloured carrot/fruit juce blend, instead of cola.

Really funny: the sound system had old 2LiveCrew blasting out of the speakers throughout the restaurant. Not exactly family restaurant music; I don't quite think the manager or workers spoke enough english to understand the song... :P

Be warned: don't order the popcorn chicken from a Chinese KFC, unless you like chewing on gristle chunks instead of meat. I learned that one my last trip to China.

Favorite Dish: They have clean bathrooms, anyway.

Public bathrooms in China are usually not very nice, so if you see a KFC sign you know you can poop in peace.

This is touted as the world's biggest KFC. At least two stories, maybe more.

Favorite Dish: Anything not fried, good luck to me.
