    Beijing Botanical Garden

Taking advantage of the unique climate of Yingtaogou which is surrounded by mountains from three sides and whose northern side faces the sun, the Beijing Botanical Garden has planted over 20 species of anti-cold plum blossoms, including Chui Zhi, (垂枝梅), Danxing (单杏梅), Fenghou (丰后梅), Mei Ren (美人梅), Lv E (绿萼梅), Zhong Ban Diao Zhi (重瓣跳枝梅) and other plum blossoms.

    Beijing Grand View Garden

Long Cui An in the Beijing Grand View Garden is not far away from Ximen. According to The Dream of Red Mansions, this is the chamber where Miaoyu (one character in the novel The Dream of Red Mansions) lives and is the temple in the garden.

A great greenery with many open gardens and giant indoor temperature and humidity controlled garden.

In August, there are beautiful blooms of lotus plants. Different floral blooms at different times of the year.

There is an important temple inside the Botanical Garden worth a visit - Wofoshi Temple.

The Beijing Botanical Gardens are divided into sections featuring a small lake, a variety of flowered gardens, a conservatory, and a Buddhist temple of sorts.
