.You can take a climb up the 60 metre Longevity Hill ("Wanshou Shan" in Chinese). While climbing you will see many beautiful structure. Of course the view from the top (on a nice day) will make the energetic climb worthwhile.
Emperor Qianlong named the hill after his Mother. The long Corridor is at the foot of Longevity Hill.

A bird's eye view of the front of the middle section of the Longevity hill. As you see its a grand view of yellow tiles. In the background you can see the Jade-like Firmanent in Bright Clouds, the Cloud Dispelling Gate and the roof the the Cloud Dispelling Hall.

Longevity Hill is a 60-meter-high hill in the gardens of the Summer Palace in Beijing, China. Together with Kunming Lake, it shapes the basic layout of the imperial garden's landscape.
