As it's in mountain area the better choice for travelling between earth buildings is to take motocycle. What's more is that the drivers are locals they can be your guides. They know what you are interested in and will provide good introduction and recommendation. Do remember to bargain with them.

Getting to Longyan by road is easier, by car or bus. No.319 and No.205 national highways run through the whole West Fujian.
