There is a beach 10 mins away from city center. But unlike other places in Pingtan, this beach wasn't well maintained, there are some dirt on the sand. But still, the sand is very soft. Suggest go there during the night, least people there and you can have BBQ dinner just next to the sea. :)
During the day, there are various program organized on the beach. Such as horse riding..etc

PingTan is the biggest island of FuJian province, views are located in different directions of island. Normally it takes 30-50 mins to get to the destination depends on the distance. Immortal Valley is located in north of the island. I like the cliff, see and pine there. It is not yet a populate tourist sight in Pingtan, few visitors only, so it is a nice, quiet place to relax.

They are two rocks formed by marine abrasion, the higher one is 33 meters and the lower one is 11 meters. It looks like a sailboat, so it's named the sailboat rock. Quite impressive to see it close.
