Jiu Jian Fang, Chikan Old Town 4 more images

    by cal6060 Updated Sep 23, 2013

Other than walking around the old town, there is nothing much you can do than having a traditional Guangdong dessert in this cafe, Jiu Jian Fang. Jiu Jian Fang is situated in one of the old shops facing the Tanjiang River. It is very easy to find. They served traditional Guangdong desserts like Beancurd paste and walnut paste. It costs 5Yuan to have a bowl of Beancurd paste. I heard the HK tourist said it is not as good as the one they have in HK. I think they are about the same, sweet and soft Beancurd, no complaints!

I was enjoying the experience dinning in this building with a small cost. An old, high ceiling, and spacious dinning hall with simple wooded tables and chairs. Old photos and movie posters are decorated around the shop.

    Don't miss!
