Qingyuan city itself is just another Chinese city. But in the countryside around it, there are lots of things to do. The hot springs complex at Qingxin is particularly good. There are lots of pools, large and small, as well as restaurants. There is a hotel too, but probably pricey. It was warm enough to walk round in swimmies even in February when I went.
There are other activities at the complex, including grass skiing and horse riding.

There is not a lot to do in Qingyuan city itself - plenty of things outside. But there is a reasonable sort of park, free entry too I think.
