it has a modest entrance but this restaurant, located on the basement of a commercial building in dongmen has a beautiful, relaxing interior.
the food is great too. plenty of vegetarian dishes in there menu. they have a set lunch for Set and buffet promo at RMB36-68.

A vegetarian's haven. Green Life is a lovely new all vegetarian restaurant where dishes are NOT oily, unlike most vegetarian Chinese restaurant offer. Lots of dishes to choose from, big space with private rooms and a corner where you could buy some vegetarian food and drinks and organic and healthy products.

A coffeehouse that also serves main dishes, the medievalism cafe of westernstyle food (the name cracks me up) is not what you think it is. there's nothing medieval about the name, and even the interiors/theme of the resto doesnt follow its title.
but they have lots of drinks and also offer dishes. the place is big with soft, relaxing booths. not so much food here for vegetarians though.

Favorite Dish: i only tried their honey tea and it was way too sweet. but i still liked it.

The location of this restaurant provides an escape to people who want t forget about China for a while and soak in the Italian ambience. The Portofino complex is a huge land consisting of villas, shops and restaurants. Cafe de Roma is a great place where you can dine al fresco by the square's fountain. They have a comprehensive menu, and some choices for vegetarians. The staff speak English and service is efficient.

Favorite Dish: spaghetti mushroom and veggie pizza

The food here is not only fresh but delicious. Everytime we do a daytrip to Shenzhen from Hong Kong, we will definitely have lunch AND dinner here. If you are not sure what to order, just seek the lady captain's advice.

Favorite Dish: The winter melon soup is one of my hot favourite. You have to pre-order which we do at lunch and then have it for dinner. The dish is served piping hot and it all the wonderful ingredients in the soup makes it so so yummy.

A high-protein dough, fresh ingredients, pure mozzarella cheese - why not? Papa John's is well loved in America and it's a welcome addition to the choices of pizza places in Shenzhen. The service is efficient. The restaurant, clean. But most of all, the pizza is satisfying.

the restaurant's food is delish. at least, the vegetarian entrees. my first time in the resto, we ordered vegetarian spaghetti and baked cheese. the serving is big, thus it's a little expensive than usual but still affordable.
it has a wild west theme with a stage and regular live band music, several billiard tables and a foozball.
service is prompt and most waitresses speak english.

the restaurant's food is that of othe taco bell grandes around the world - except that there's no refried beans and the taste has been adjusted to suit, well, the chinese taste buds - not too hot and spicy.
menu consists of mostly meat dishes but for vegetarians like me, you can request the staff to prepare some meatless quesadillas or wraps. still, you would find that your choices are limited. you can order about 3 dishes this way: the guacamole quesadilla, nachos and vegetable wrap (which consists of nothing but lettuce and some salsa). nonetheless, it tastes fine. price per meal would cost you from RMB50 - 100.
what i love the most about this place is their jalapeno peppers stuffed with cheese and deep fried. i also like the resto's motif - colorful, art-deco like, with paintings of mexico hung on their walls.
you gotta love it, because it's the only tbg in shenzhen or mexican resto for that matter!
