Looks real, right? by SLLiew Splendid China is a wonder view of all the famous sites of China scaled down 15:1. It is easy to get there by public bus or MRT subway from Lowu, about 30 minutes ride. Taxi will be more expensive but convenient if you are in a group. You can see the whole of China in one afternoon here. Great Wall of China, Forbidden City, Temple of heaven, Three Gorges Dam, Potala Palace and the Terracotta Army. Excellent photo opportunity. For senior citizens, it is free admission. Overseas Chinese can get same treatment, not sure if it applies to other foreign nationals. Otherwise, admission is pricey at 120 Yuan (including the ticket for China Folk Culture Villages). Open 9am-6pm and recommended duration time is 2 hours.

Replica of the Taj by shobhanaj Don't miss the replica of the Taj Mahal here. Quite a wonderful sight. It is rather large and there is great detail in the carvings and structure. If I am correct, it is supposed to be one-fifth the size of the real Taj Mahal. Leave a Comment Directions: Hop into a taxi and tell the driver you want to go there.

fountains of windows of the world by arni_ph075 Without paying the entrance fee, just in the entrance of Window, there are a lot of photo opportunity.. The Eiffel could be seen from the distance already as well as the Acropolis. A lot of fountains also, varying its size and landscapes.. The pyramid on the left side with "Window of the World sign" is the most photograph. It reminds me of Luxor in Las Vegas. Tip: Near the fountain ,there are pigeons roaming around on the area. Fascinating to see.. Some Chinese kids feeding them. If you want to have photograph with the pigeons you have to pay some minimal amount, at worst even if the pegions are on far background only.. by SLLiew One of the city's landmark buildings, the Shenzhen Museum was open in 1988 with traditional and modern architecture style incorporated. The Museum depicts the 800 history of Shenzhen (Xiasha) when the Huang Clan first settled during the Song Dynasty of China. Since Shenzhen was made into one fo the special economic zones, the local who owned land had prospered. The several floors museums has statues, displays and stuffed animals to give a local flavor of the local history and Chinese culture. Address: 1008, Shennan Road Central, Downtown Shenzhen

by SLLiew This one of the most popular theme park which as the name suggests take you around the world in the park. You can travel the world in one day. The entrance is a cluster of water fountains and cascading falls with colorful flowers and Egyptian statues in the background. Many local toursists come later in the evening to see the daily night shows. There is a tram that will take you around. You can see Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, the Pyramids, the Eiffel Tower and even Penang representing by the Kek Lok Si tower. Later you can walkabout and take all your favorite background photos whether it is the Red Square or the Arch of Triumph of Paris. There are also small performances, acrobatic and dancing, here and there to entertain all visitors. A worthwhile visit though the entrance is RM100 yuan or more. Good news free for senior citizens. ' Address: Shennan Road, Shenzen

The Miao people by Alain_Smeets In this Park you can see 55 minority groups of China. You can see some houses and you can learn about their dresses, habits and mostly they present themselves with shows. We enjoyed our day her very much, although we didn’t understand their language and the Mandorin or Kantonese translation of it, we were overwhelmed by their expressions and still had the change to follow a bit of the things they would like to tell to us. I compare it with the Belgium Bokrijk where we can visit our own past, but here you can visit some of the minority groups from China. It’s an experience worth while. The village is a museum of China's 55 ethnic groups with their distinctive architecture, customs and exotic flavor. Twenty-four life-size ethnic villages present various ethnic flavors from Beijing's courtyards and wooden archway to spectacular buildings of the Miao, Dong, Yao, Jingpo ethnic groups. From the wooded Banyans in Xishuangbanna to slender Suzhou bridges and mystery Lijiang houses, you can get a general idea about China's ethnic groups in just half a day. It's very close to another magnificent park, Splendid China, this is China in miniature, and they can be done in one day. . Leave a Comment

by SLLiew Another fun theme park where you can see about 24 village authentically build village houses and 56 minority groups of China in just one location. The Cultural Village is located just next to Splendid China and so it is easy to go to both places. You can visit each of the village house and meet locals in different costumes and find out more of their culture and customs. It reminds me of the Polynesian Village in Hawaii and the Sarawak Cultural Village in Damai, Kuching of Malaysia. Besides the outdoor show, there is also nightly show which is worth your time.

This park shows you the world in miniature. Some people that I know visited this place and they liked it very much. But because we only had one day here, we choose to see the parks related to China. But it's worth the visit and all parks are in walking distance from each other. So if you want to see the wonders of this world go there, you can see the Eifeltower or the pyramids of Egypt. You can find 118 scenic spots from all over the world here. . Leave a Comment
