  • Poor service

by Lukoktonos Written Apr 2, 2013

My wife waited in line for an hour to be turned away at the door of a ride because she wasn't allowed to bring her purse, even though all the other women who entered the ride had purses, and nowhere was this rule written. Not only that, I walked over to hold her purse for her, which took about 45 seconds, and that was already too late. She wasn't allowed in. We complained to the management, who are powerless to help and don't really want to be bothered with customers anyway.
Don't waste your money and time.

This one of the most popular theme park which as the name suggests take you around the world in the park. You can travel the world in one day.

The entrance is a cluster of water fountains and cascading falls with colorful flowers and Egyptian statues in the background. Many local toursists come later in the evening to see the daily night shows.

There is a tram that will take you around. You can see Grand Canyon, Niagara Falls, the Pyramids, the Eiffel Tower and even Penang representing by the Kek Lok Si tower.

Later you can walkabout and take all your favorite background photos whether it is the Red Square or the Arch of Triumph of Paris.

There are also small performances, acrobatic and dancing, here and there to entertain all visitors. A worthwhile visit though the entrance is RM100 yuan or more. Good news free for senior citizens. '

Its a tourist spot that u must visit cos its so pretty and nice. Take a ride on the horse carriage ard the place got glimpse of the place before going around is fun. Lots of pictures to be taken.

The 'water-game' is disappointing...and the pictures developed is totally blurred...However, the ride is only RMB10 so its worth cos u get to see the nice view...They are kind and considerate enough to provide raincoat n towel for the ride, but do remember to tie the hood tight if not prepare for water pouring into and onto u. Rides there cost RMB10 usually, including the mini-indoors roller coaster which is not that scary as it seem.

The camel ride is worth it. 55RMB for 2 person ride on the camel with 2 photo shots while wearing costumes. They are also very willing to help u take pictures with your own camera. Helpful!

Its fun locating and seeing what special icon WotW put. Overall a place to take lots and lots of pictures. Be cheeky and u have alot of fun posing at the mini iconic buildings :D

My wife and I went there early afternoon on a Monday. There were very few poeple until later in the afternoon when hoards of buses brought tourist there. Be sure to watch the evening performance at the main stage after dark. The stage is impressive and the show outstanding.
The sound system is the best I have heard for an outdoor show. Do not miss it ! Get the RMB10 seats for the show. The show is free if you are willing to sit on stools. For that price you get a chair with a back to rest on.

If you been to Epcot Centre , than you can give this a miss. This theme park covers minature architecture and monuments from different continents as well as a 108-meter-tall replica of the Eiffel Tower.

My understanding was that because during that time , most chinese don't have the opportunity to travel outside the country they can see all the world great monuments in one place.

fountains of windows of the world

Without paying the entrance fee, just in the entrance of Window, there are a lot of photo opportunity.. The Eiffel could be seen from the distance already as well as the Acropolis.
A lot of fountains also, varying its size and landscapes..

The pyramid on the left side with "Window of the World sign" is the most photograph. It reminds me of Luxor in Las Vegas.

Tip: Near the fountain ,there are pigeons roaming around on the area. Fascinating to see.. Some Chinese kids feeding them. If you want to have photograph with the pigeons you have to pay some minimal amount, at worst even if the pegions are on far background only..

    Replica of the Taj

Don't miss the replica of the Taj Mahal here. Quite a wonderful sight. It is rather large and there is great detail in the carvings and structure. If I am correct, it is supposed to be one-fifth the size of the real Taj Mahal.
