Window of the World, Shenzhen

If you been to Epcot Centre , than you can give this a miss. This theme park covers minature architecture and monuments from different continents as well as a 108-meter-tall replica of the Eiffel Tower.

My understanding was that because during that time , most chinese don't have the opportunity to travel outside the country they can see all the world great monuments in one place.

If you don't have time to travel around the world, then you should come to the 'Window to the World' in Shenzhen. All the famous and beautiful scenes are here in original or smaller size. You could travel around the world in one day. There will be a big multiple cultural dance show every night on the stage in front of the Eiffel tower, every exciting!

Have a chance to see wonders of the world in just one day without a plane ride & no visa.

The whole area is huge, 480,000 square meters and its right next to two theme parks, Splendid China and China Folk Culture Village. 118 famous natural wonders and famous monuments and its group by continents. The park is well divided into 9 zones: the World Square, the Areas of Asia, Europe, Africa, Oceania, America, Sculpture Park, the Recreational Center and the International Street.

All intricate replicas are built on a scale of 1:1, 1:5 and 1:1.5 respectively.

Some of the places that you will see are: L'Arc de Triomphe, Niagara Falls, Grand Canyon, Mt Rushmore, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Sydney Opera House, Pyramids, Sphinx, Acropolis of Athens,Angkor Wat,Taj Mahal, Eiffel Tower, even some statue of Easter Island

Without paying the entrance fee, just in the entrance of Window, there are a lot of photo opportunity.. The Eiffel could be seen from the distance already as well as the Acropolis.
A lot of fountains also, varying its size and landscapes..

The pyramid on the left side with "Window of the World sign" is the most photograph. It reminds me of Luxor in Las Vegas.

Tip: Near the fountain ,there are pigeons roaming around on the area. Fascinating to see.. Some Chinese kids feeding them. If you want to have photograph with the pigeons you have to pay some minimal amount, at worst even if the pegions are on far background only..

Don't miss the replica of the Taj Mahal here. Quite a wonderful sight. It is rather large and there is great detail in the carvings and structure. If I am correct, it is supposed to be one-fifth the size of the real Taj Mahal.

This park shows you the world in miniature. Some people that I know visited this place and they liked it very much. But because we only had one day here, we choose to see the parks related to China. But it's worth the visit and all parks are in walking distance from each other.

So if you want to see the wonders of this world go there, you can see the Eifeltower or the pyramids of Egypt. You can find 118 scenic spots from all over the world here.
