I could see the train going to the Lo Wu Train Station. Later I noticed it is just there where we left the tunnel trunk to enter the LuoHu Shopping Distyrict.
Where the people were coming from and going to Hongkong ...
You will cross the No Man´s Land area by a bridge ...
I heard the border crossing can be very crowded, take a long time and can be very stressy ...

Lowu Bus terminal
There are many express direct bus connection between Shenzen (Lowu) to neighboring towns like Dongguan, Humen, Guangzhou or Zhuhai.
There is also intra-city buses and buses to local neighborhoods. Check with locals where to wait for the buses depending on your destinations.
For long distance buses to towns in Guangdong, you cannot book in advance. Just stand in queue. When the bus arrives and pay as you board or after you have seated. Those behind in the queue will then wait for the next bus.
Do not be surprised if sometimes, someone come on board the bus just before departure, then videotaped everyone. It is to deter bus robbery.
Anyway, do not carry a lot of valuable and cash. If you have, you should afford a taxi but better to ask a friend to pick you up.
Found it very easy to go around by buses. Have your destination written in Chinese charactors if you are do not speak Chines. Note that many long distance buses stop running earlier, 7-9 pm.
ShenZhen Airport to Disneyland!
It seems that everyone over here keeps stressing that the ferry is the coolest way to get to HK. Well, it's not the best option if you're going to Disneyland or the interior of HK. You're better off taking a luxury bus that goes there directly. Just outside the departure gates, you'll find a cushy lounge called Trans-Island China Link for direct coaches to HK.
Here's a breakdown of the prices:
Prince Edward MTR HK$90
Wan Chai Ferry Terminal HK$100
The bus goes to Macau as well, but it didn't come cheap at about HK$170(?) You're better off taking the ferry I feel.
They've got a website as well. From the looks of it, there were barely any folks there so advance booking does not seem to be necessary.
Cheapest Air Ticket
I online purchase www.airasia.com from Shenzhen to Kuala Lumpur at Malaysian RInggit 750 each person (all taxes included), around US$200, 2 ways (return).
This low cost airline did not provided free meals!
I had to buy a rice/chicken (Malaysian Nasi Lemak) and a cup of super weird taste creamy tea (Malaysian Teh-tarik), it taste like wood. And I got vomit 10 minutes later, probably caused by the weird taste or probably they sold me the one expired.
The reason I eat the Nasi Lemak was because I saw the beautiful menu, so nicely printed, a fresh green banana leaf with white rice on it with curries plus sliced cucumber, wow! I paid 7 Ringgit and later what I ate was a aluminum foil made kind of plate with rice and some unappealing looked curries, with no cucumber at all.
Do not try carry a bottle of water into the plane, the x-ray machine can see through your handbag, they want you to throw into the dustbin immediately. (I saw tons of water bottle in it, all contributed by passengers)
Got to run
This plane is free seat. You must run if you scare. I saw most passengers run for good seat. Malaysian must run. Malaysia Boleh!
The rest are OK, so far so good.

RMB60 per person. Super VIP, clean, big seat, no smoking (yes no smoking, no spitting).
Less than 2 hours on beautiful highway, sending you to Guang-Yuan Bus Station in Guangzhou.
This bus operates every 9 minutes at the Luohu Bus Statiton (next to railway station), no need to buy ticket in advance. You buy the bus ticket on the bus, RMB60 only. Toilet on bus, free mineral water.
Buses to other location are available here too, you need to go into the shopping mall which is upstair on the bus station to queue and buy your ticket. Lots of foreigners here, so you need not worry.

Crossing at Huanggang Border
Most tourists and business travellers from Hong Kong Airport will cross to Shenzen at the Huanggang border which is much closer than Lowu crossing. You do not have to pass through downtown Hong Kong of Kowloon.
Instead you will pass two beautiful bridges on the way to Huanggang.
Most travellers use hired cars or the bus shuttles from the airport their different destinations in Shenzen or other towns in Guangdong province. You need to carry your luggage across the border point which is a burden.
Border crossing at Lowu border
Most tourists or business travellers from Kowloon will take the train to Lowu for a land crossing.
At Lowu border, there is usually 30 minutes to 1 hour waiting time to cross the border depending on the time of the day and whether it is a weekend or around public holidays.
As it can be crowded, be careful of your passport, wallet and luggage.
On the China side of Lowu, you can continue on a train, bus or taxi to other parts of Shenzen or other towns in Guangdong province.
ShenZhen Airport to LuoHu
If you need to get from Shen Zhen to downtown Luohu, you can either take the
1)Nice big blue airport bus which would dump you at the backside of Luohu Commercial City or
2)A mini bus which would dump you at a nicer location in Luohu Commercial City (at the front, near the bus terminal) or
3)A cab which cost 5 times more than option 1 and 2.
Both buses and cabs are just outside of the departure gates. The bus cost 20RMB and takes about 1 hour to travel to Luohu whereas the cab cost about 5 times more and takes about 30-40min to reach there.
Tip: Do not sucuumb to temptation and follow those lousy touts who approach you at the depart. gates. Chances are, they are illegal taxi drivers with no price meters. Go with them and you'll get fleeced/robbed/God knows what else. The legal taxis are just wating outside.
ShenZhen Airport to places in GuangDong
There's a shuttle bus from SZ Airport to destinations in Guang Dong (Zhuhai,HuiZhou.Dongguan, etc ). I took a snap shot of the schedule, travelling times and tix prices which might come in handy, I hope.
The Shenzhen Metro
The Metro system in Shenzhen is relatively new and offers a very clean, efficient and cheap way to navigate the city.
Not all areas of Shenzhen are covered, so check first to ensure your destination is available.
A Metro link from Hong Kong is scheduled to begin aroung July 07...
Also, although some stations offer wheelchair elevators, some don't! I saw one wheelchair user being carried in his chair up a flight of stairs in order to get out!

Bus Shuttle from Hong Kong airport
One easy way to get from Hong Kong airport to Shenzhen is to catch the CTS bus. The buses do take large cases. Buses leave for Shenzhen and Guangzhou every hour but be warned the last bus from the airport is at 10pm. Go to the CTS section of the airport. The bus ticket from Hong Kong airport to Shenzhen was US $14 or HK$100. The journey itself was fairly uneventful. You arrive at customs basically walk through and then the bus drops you off at the bus terminal. (Which seems at night time in the middle of nowhere!) From the bus terminal you catch a taxi to your hotel or a connecting bus to Shenzhen Bao An International Airport. We arrived in Hong Kong at 10pm – by 12pm we were in our bed in Shenzhen! I have included a scanned copy of the CTS Express Coach brochure (there are two pages!).

Air flights from Shenzhen
We caught the plane from Shenzhen to Xian. The airline was China Southern and cost: 650 Yuan plus 50 Yuan fuel surcharge plus 100 Yuan other taxes. The flight itself took two and quarter hours and a very smooth flight. Our flight was for 9.15 am but we left at 9.45am and arrived at Xian at 12.05pm. We were carrying wine in our hand luggage bags. Customs requested that we have them wrapped in a polystyrene box at the packing area just before you go through customs. Cost about 5 yuan. The box was then put with the rest of our luggage.

Train to Guangzhou and beyond
Shenzen is a major train stop for travellers from or to Hong Kong. The train station is right after the border crossing. So the Lowu Shopping, train station and bus station are all connected by building or pedestrian bridge - very convenient but very crowded..
There are fast or regular train to Guangzhou but limited service and no late night train. Easy to use but the trains and train stations are not that clean or well maintained perhaps due to high traffic of people.
Try the double decker train to Guangzhou. Have not taken the train to Shanghai or Beijing. Perhaps to Tibet one day.
Fu Yong Ferry Terminal
Fuyong Terminal is 5 minutes next to the Shenzen Airport at Baoan. It is an easy alternative to take a ferry or fast boat from Hong Kong to Shenzen with less queueing time in crossing than the land immigration and custom of both Hong Kong and China.
Have met with many business travels at the ferry terminal coming from Hong Kong. There is a small restaurant for waiting. Just have to know the schedule in advance and at least 60 minutes of check in with luggage or 30 minutes without to ensure you do not miss the boat.
The bus system in Shenzhen is pretty good. Just make sure you can recognize the characters for the stop you're going to since the routes are only in Chinese.
Some buses you get on and just put 2 yuan in a slot, but others require you to tell a lady on the bus where you're going and they may cost more if you're going a further distance. So, you should know how to say where you want to go as well.
