What to buy: On the main shopping street in downtown Taishan are a variety of music shops. Most of what they sell are popular Chinese CDs, however they also sell a selected variety of American/English music. I was able to pick up a few CDs that had just come out stateside there for like 10-13 RMB. What a great deal!! Plus I got many dance CDs that I can only get stateside for like $30!! What a bargain!
What to pay: 10-15 RMB. However, buying in larger quantities will get you a discount.
