Several Chinese style bars in close vicinity of each other. Price of a bottle of Red Label Johnnie Walker or dozen beers is about 350 RMB which is typical anywhere in Zhongshan. Good atmosphere on the weekend, especially at Park 9 around midnight. There are many other good Chinese and Western bars sprinkled throughout Zhongshan.

There are many outdoor barbecue restaurants that pop up around 8 or 9 pm every night of the week and stay open into the wee hours of the night serving meat skewers, fried noodles, and beer. It is very cheap and a great way to feel the relaxed, Zhongshan evening atmosphere.

There is a fruit research garden in the countryside of Zhongshan. Tropical fruit lovers will admire this area as it plants many different fruits that are unknown to a Western visitor.
