Immitation of the Yuanming Palace in Beijing. The park has many attractions from ancient emperors' artifacts and clothes to floating restaurants and traditional Chinese architecture. It offers amazing photo opportunities with the mountains as a backdrop and there are many little pagodas to distract yourself with. In the evening, at the Northern side of the park, there are impressive stage shows depicting traditional Chinese dances and stories in a Broadway style musical presentation. This is a must-see. Also, in the Northern most part of the park there is a sea-battle re-enactment using real boats, explosions and also a troop of cavalry to add to the realism.

Zhuhai Fisher Girl Statue is the landmark of the city. Standing elegantly at Xianglu Bay, she drapes a fishnet and holds a pearl high in the air with both hands up to the sky. The statue symbolizes a vigorous and lively Zhuhai welcoming visitors from all over the world.

If you go to see the 'symbol' of Zhuhai, Fishing Girl, I recommend you to take a walk along the coast of Xianglu Bay for a while. You will enjoy the view of Zhuhai (Pearl River) Delta with brownish water, rocks, beach, fishing people.

The New Yuanming Palace Zhi Zu Le
In front of a beautiful building like old Chinese palace, young boys and girls in traditional coutumes welcome you.
They show you to the room, where you will be given a massage.
First they put your feet into hot medecinal water. This is very comfortable after walking and travelling a lot. The foot massage will last for about an hour.
If you want to have a massage for your whole body, tell them so. They will take you to another room, where you are told to lie yourself down on a bed. They will give you another hour's massage.
You should pay less than 20 US dollars for foot massage and body massage ( 2 hours )altogether.

Located in the west of Zhuhai city, the ocean spring resort id the first ‘National demonstration base of vocational tourism’ in China.
The resort covers an area of 5.1 square kilometers with rare ocean spring as it core products. It has also 2 five-star hotels, a fisherman’s wharf, a high tech dream theater and a mysterious island theme park.

Ocean Spring Resort, dubbed the No.1 Spring in South China, is the core of the resort, where the thermal spring is said to contain more than 30 trace elements favourable for human health.

Take a cable car to the top of the hills, you will be able to see the sea view as well as the mountain view of Zhuhai & Macau.
It cost around 50 RMB for the cableway.
When you are about to reach the top, there is a phototaking service, you just need to wave your hand, then a picture will be taken for you, and of course, payment is required.
You may also choose to slide down from the top.

Look to the name of the city, Zhuhai, then change the order of the characters to read Hai Zhu, and it is the name of the most popular beer available in Zhuhai.

It's not a bad beer when compared with the other Chinese beers available locally. So, remember, once in Zhuhai, my suggestion is for you to order an Hai Zhu.

We visited an oyster farm in zhuhai. In there, we could see many big oysters breeding in the sea. You can walk along the wooden poles where they hang strings of breeding oysters, see people shelling the oysters and of course taste some fresh oysters. I find the oysters were not as tasty as those you can find in say, western countries, but partly bcos we have all ordered cooked oysters. (Who would dare to try fresh oysters? :))

We had charcoal grilled oysters which were the best, the deep fried oysters which were quite alright and cheese baked oysters where the cheese don't taste like cheese.

It's a pleasant visit, you can see oyster shells everywhere and the cool sea breeze makes the place very relaxing.
