Sunshine 100 is a four tower commercial/residential high rise complex on Min Zu Da Dao (Minzu Avenue), close to the Nanning Library, and a variety of shopping areas.
The retail area at ground level of Sunshine 100, and the immediate vicinity, has lots of bars, restaurants and cafes, popular with foreigners and locals alike. There's a variety of slightly up market ethnic Chinese eateries, as well as Thai, Japanese, and Korean, and boutique coffee
shops. Some bars/pubs have live music, and may have a cover charge.
An easy walk east along Min Zu Da Dao towards Nan Hu (South Lake) and you'll find more clubs and bars, usually on the ground level of commercial complexes. Head west, back towards downtown, and you'll find some good cheap eating and drinking in the Library precinct, where a host of small bars and open air cafes line the large pond in the Library forecourt.
Dress Code: Wear pretty much anything you like in the open air cafes and bars; restaurants/clubs would expect a little better.
