Favorite thing: China-Vietnam border crossing at Pingxiang, there are so many buses and mini buses around that took local passengers acrossing border, the cost of bus is very low and it took some 2-3 hours. I did this in 2002.

A: There is more than one pingxiang, but I expect you mean the one on the Vietnamese border. That's a long way from Guilin - probably getting on for 10 hours driving. ...
