Huangguoshu Waterfall
The Huangguoshu waterfall is in Anshun county, and it is the largest waterfall in China and perhaps Asia. I won't bore you with stats of its height and width, but it is impressive. It is actually a cluster of 18 waterfalls, so the area has some exploring opportunities. Best to visit Oct-March when water levels are at the highest. There is a lot of midst in the air, so you may want to take an umbrella. Admission Fee: CNY 90 (Waterfall Scenic Area, excluding CNY 60 for the elevator)CNY 60 (Tianxingqiao Bridge Scenic Area, excluding CNY 8 for the ropeway) Reachable from Guiyang for a day trip but better to stay overnight.
