Fresh Moo

To understand such a menu, please use your imagination. Fxxk to fry the soil bean the silk, what is that?????? believe me, it's a normal chinese dish........it is fried potato strips. the owner told me that she got all those translated English from a local printing shop.

Niang Mei Tung local-style dish restaurant

I don't know whether it's truly Dong local style. But the dishes tasted not bad and it's the best meal I had since I started the trip in Guizhou. The former meals were too oily.

Niang Mei is a Dong girl's name. There's a sad love tale between she and a guy.

I didn't go here either, but it's another option on the main street.

Favorite Dish: All of the local places seem to sell the same sort of thing. Maybe this one is a bit different.

Meets Bar

It seems like a local joint, though with that name, is probably a place designed for tourists. I didn't go inside, but it's there for those who want it.

You know the food is fresh around here- they bring it in from the fields during the day. Just make sure it's washed.

We didn't eat here as the menu wasn't all that inspiring and the outdoor seating had a bunch of foreigners... we wanted something more local. But it seems like a nice place.

L'Etranger

Not open in the winter (February 2008) and therefore probably owned by someone who lives in a bigger city, L'Etranger seems to serve western food to cater to all the tourists.
