Favorite thing: At this resort, you can have a stored value card paid by credit card that pays for all your meals, ski expenses, rooms, shopping, etc. End of the trip, the balance on the card is refunded. Convenient mode of payment.

Favorite thing: After a night stay at the inn, the next morning, 3 local ski coaches were waiting for us at the lobby. They have gotten information where we were from and how many of us. Talk about efficiency!
This, also, happens at Harbin where the tour operators knock on our hotel room door and enquired whether we had firmed up our local tour packages. They were, also, informed where we were from.

Yabuli is supposed to be China's top ski resort. It hosted the Asian winter games a few years ago.. My advice to serious skiers is... don't bother. If like me you can just about manage the beginner...

Yes, it is fun! But is truly a place for those who enjoy winter sports expecually skie! Nice slope ( of course, if you're lucky and get some snow).It is quite cold, not like European or Korean...

I took my twins to Yabuli last year when they were 3.5 years old. We went with our chinese nanny and a chinese friend who could speak English. Getting a train ticket from Harbin is relatively simple....
