Within the Yabuli Windmill Inn and to the left of the hotel's lobby, is a convenience store where you can purchase some basic items including foodstuffs. Prices are comparable with Harbin's Wal-Mart albeit a little more expensive.
You can purchase those stuff in the convenience store to save you the trouble of bringing it from Harbin.

Yabuli is supposed to be China's top ski resort. It hosted the Asian winter games a few years ago.. My advice to serious skiers is... don't bother. If like me you can just about manage the beginner...

Yes, it is fun! But is truly a place for those who enjoy winter sports expecually skie! Nice slope ( of course, if you're lucky and get some snow).It is quite cold, not like European or Korean...

I took my twins to Yabuli last year when they were 3.5 years old. We went with our chinese nanny and a chinese friend who could speak English. Getting a train ticket from Harbin is relatively simple....
