For train journey to Yabuli from Harbin, it is recommended to book tickets a day before. The tickets can be sold out if you go for a last-minute walk-in purchase.
The return trip, I took a 11:09am train which cost me about 17 RMB/pax. The seats for this train are all hard-seat (pvc/leather with cloth). The journey is about 3 hours from Yabuli to Harbin with Harbin being the terminal station.
