The return trip, I took a 11:09am train which cost me about 17 RMB/pax. The seats for this train are all hard-seat (pvc/leather with cloth). The journey is about 3 hours from Yabuli to Harbin with Harbin being the terminal station.
Within the Yabuli Windmill Inn and to the left of the hotel's lobby, is a convenience store where you can purchase some basic items including foodstuffs. Prices are comparable with Harbin's Wal-Mart albeit a little more expensive.

I paid upfront 30% deposit for the rooms via remittance as requested by the Yabuli Windmill Inn. Upon check-in, they reported that they have not received the money into their bank account.
On returning back, I've checked with the remittance agency and there is a confirmation slip from the receiving bank. This confirmation slip has been e-mailed to Yabuli Windmill Resort and they had confirmed receiving the bank's confirmation slip.
To this date (4-Jan-07), 7 days after I've check out, they have not being able to pinpoint the money remitted into their account.
Now is 5-Sep-07 and despite many reminders, still nothing yet. Is this a con?

After a night stay at the inn, the next morning, 3 local ski coaches were waiting for us at the lobby. They have gotten information where we were from and how many of us. Talk about efficiency!
This, also, happens at Harbin where the tour operators knock on our hotel room door and enquired whether we had firmed up our local tour packages. They were, also, informed where we were from.
