Taxis are 3 yuan to start, and don't go for more than 8-10 yuan any trip around town. It's a nice alternative to buses during cold days, since the buses can get crowded.
Get ur destination written in characters by someone, and show it to the driver.
Do not scream or jump if the driver does a crazy traffic stunt. And don't wear a seatbelt...supposedly it offends them if you do.

No tourist attractions. No for foreigner prices. This is what 60-70% of all Chinese people live like...in the country. Definitely not a city for the high maintenance. Only big thing here is SIAS...
